NonProfit Social Media Marketing

Hi!

I’m Rachel and this is my Nonprofit Social Media Marketing blog. I recently graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a degree in Marketing. My dream is to market for a nonprofit organization in the future. Thus the focus of this blog will be nonprofit marketing with an emphasis on social media. Since I really love animals and the environment, I will focus on these types of nonprofit groups such as ASPCA, Humane Society, World Wildlife Fund, etc.

In order to learn the different strategies used by nonprofits in the social media world, I will post about how nonprofits use a specific social site – Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube- and compare the marketing techniques used. Seeing as how these are all very different types of social media, I am hopeful that successful strategies will be very unique.
